Monaco

How to take part:
Complete as many laps as youd like of Monaco in a Tourist Trophy > practice > free run. Then save your fastest race replay onto a USB stick from the replay theater area and upload it to TT Replays (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/). no wall touching will be allowed and any moment which you would have crashed in real like you survived in TT will be disqualifed.

Bike you can use:
Honda VFR400R RM

Deadline:
The chequered flag is out in 1 week time (Sunday the 25th of March). Any entries submitted after midnight CST will not count.

TT Replays Tag:
All replays for this round should have the tag 'TTWS7-monaco'. You will be able to enter this when you upload your replay to the site.

i will change to a number 13 plate and hopefully be able to beat that time. funny that this race is tagged as "monaco", even though in the game there isnt a monaco, its cote d'azure or something...but since we are all racing enthusiasts...we all know which one monaco is. :)

i need to work on everything. heh. what gears are you guys running? even with auto set at 1 i was almost never using 6th gear.

i have my gears set for 130mph. and you dont have to use all 6 gears...

yeah, i was going to try adjusting the gears to redline at 5th and not need 6th. how about the chicane? that feels so ... weird for lack better description because i make the left, but, at the apex it feels like im low siding and extremely hard to get the bike back on the other side of the tyre.

what you have to do is before you stand it up and flop it on the right side, let off the brake, and get back on the gas really early. this will help with that, and if you tuck the rider, he will more than likely fall off. also, i turn the bike to the right and it seems like i am going to hit the wall, but because the wheel turns to the left to go right, it will pull you away form the right side wall. once you get it right, its not so bad.

:) very good weather callaghan, I have hesity has to just leave 5 reports/ratios, also also on Suzuka, but has the fine I have prefere to remain like that, but there must be a small profit :lol:

Back in the game... I borrowed Ps2 from my friend and now back to TT.
It's kinda weird to switch to other joystick cause I regulate throttle with a "x" button, and this joy is much more sensitive. :) I'll get used to it. ;)

i just tested this track for fun and i'm down to a 1' 45.5xx but i'm not competing as i'm hitting the books tomorrow and next week

1'47.964 is all I could pull off this week. Wanted more, but it just wasn't happening. After a bunch of set-up work, ended up setting my fastest time by going back to the stock settings for a sense check. :? Did enjoy the track a lot more than I thought I would though.

hi guys, sorry i wasnt about for this round, picked up a ps3 and was blasting motorstorm online all weekend. great fun. then i rememberd i hadn't uploaded anytimes here. d'oh.

for the record - Tourist Trophy doesn't work on teh PAL PS3 even after i downloaded the new firmware. sucks huh?

i usually pull around 2 mins on monaco anyways, you guys win ;)

yeah, that time was with blowing the chicane, so it wasnt a valid lap, i didnt actually put in an official time, and as it turns out, i didnt save the replay on this rounds' lap either. :cry: oh well i was too tired, and just turned off my ps2 after i made that lap...
