Hearing about Abe this morning has taken the wind out of my sails a bit, but nonetheless, congratulations are in order.
After the disaster that was turn one of race one it looked almost as if it wasn't going to happen, but fortunately after a great season that wasn't the case.
On the day that Scotland got knocked out of the RWC, Hamilton crashed his car in the pitlane and all the usual footy bollocks took place, the fact that a Brit had one a world championship went unmentioned on the news though. :(
Here's hoping Toseland can pick up where he left off when he moves to GPs next year.

Yea always love to see him drive, but i'm affraid he won't do as good in the moto gp next year
in his second season he 'll pick up i guess, it's a big difference between moto gp and WSBK
Nice exemple for this is Vermeulen, who's starting to get some nice results this year
hopefully it won't turn up like Edwards
Toseland should be on a better bike than Vermeulen though. Hopefully the 08 Yamaha will be a championship winner and they won't suffer the terrible start to the year that they did this year and in 2006.
Assuming the tyres are there, and I think it's almost certain they will be (whether that's down to a control tyre rule or not), I have high hopes for Toseland taking race wins next year.

Toseland is gonna be the next Edwards. He is way to used to riding superbikes. With the 990 maybe he would have a punchers chance. But not the 800's. If Bayliss couldnt get close. Toseland dont got a chance.
I'm not convinced of that. Bayliss never had a shot on the 800s anyway, and he did win the last race of the 900s.
Welcome to the boards though. ;)

Hey I wish JT the best and hope he gets some wins. But if you play the statisics hes going in under less than ideal circumstances. 1) Non-factory bike 2) Yamaha, only rossi has got the results 3) Everyone from sbk to gp has done poorly, foggy, edwards, bayliss. <---not bad riders. haga as well.
Ill give you vermulean, for arguments sakes. Ill give the tires though. I dont think there running dunlop next year. Bridgstone would be good, but I think michelin will have caught up. So they will be pretty equal. I wish em luck though, thanks for the welcome to the board.
I'm expecting the Tech 3 bike to be much closer to the factory than it has been in the past couple of years. Mainly because Toseland's always said he won't move to GP unless it's to a competitive team which, as it stands, Tech 3 are not (though admittedly the Dunlops are a big factor in that).
I think the concerns about coming in from WSB are valid though and I admit that more often that not the switch hasn't been particularly successful. But for the time being I remain optimistic.
