Why is it all the retro one-offs wind up looking 10 times better than the modern paintjobs? Diatribe 12-10-2007, 12:51 AM Aye good stuff, and a wee bit of a Sheene fan myself. Mainly thanks to my dad, but got to see him race (and win) a few classic races. Will have to see how the weekend goes before betting, Phillip Island usually produces some close races. Would be nice to see Stoner win at home, hopefully after a hard fought final few laps rather than buggering off into the distance. osg 12-10-2007, 08:08 AM Chris the V's retro Sheene homage is the Shit. Awesome stuff. Diatribe 12-10-2007, 02:28 PM Not to be outdone... http://pix.crash.net/motorsport/view/387812.jpg http://pix.crash.net/motorsport/view/387818.jpg http://pix.crash.net/motorsport/view/387511.jpg Dom 12-10-2007, 03:20 PM I'm not a fan. It's better than that sickly Fiat 500 one they did earlier in the year though. Diatribe 12-10-2007, 03:53 PM That one kinda grew on me... Rossi pulled it off better than Edwards, same with this one I think. I'm a sucker for most one off schemes though to be honest. Can't get the time off work so am missing the Superbike finale at Brands on Sunday :( Dom 12-10-2007, 07:26 PM With the 500 they did give Edwards the pink leathers though, so it's no great surprise that that was the case. osg 14-10-2007, 07:13 AM Another GP, another Stoner victory, i'm starting to wish Vale could at least make a fist of battling with him............ maybe in 2009 when he signs with Ducati ;)........ Storming ride by Hayden, i was hell impressed..... until the 212V let go on him Dom 14-10-2007, 02:39 PM Yawn. :( I can see why Phillip Island is popular with riders, but it doesn't seem to make for the most exciting races. Disappointing to see Hayden struck down with another bout of bad luck too. It was good to see Capirossi back to riding like a loon and taking second though. Another Stoner walkover? It seems like a bit of a non-event. es nes 14-10-2007, 03:02 PM AStorming ride by Hayden, i was hell impressed..... the end is nigh!!! ;) osg 14-10-2007, 07:40 PM  the end is nigh!!! ;) hahahahaahaha.... well it was es!!! Arse out, screaming rear tyre, ragged, on the edge stuff from Nicky. I respect that sort of passion. The way he began to fall off Casey i reckon the 212V was shot 2 or 3 laps earlier. sreeja 09-11-2007, 09:17 AM Australian moto GP is really a world champion. |
