My first few TT pictures

So far I've spent almost as much time fiddling with the photo mode feature as I have racing, it's a bit addictive.

Anyway here's my first bunch of pics, some of which I fiddled with a bit in Photoshop (to no great affect)...

That 4th one with the black R1 knee-dragging is a keeper!

Re: My first few TT pictures

Nice shots.

I have a couple videos I put together:

First up, is some onboard of a succesful TZR vs NSR race.

http://media.rc45.net/media/tzrwin.zip

Second, my first run to 200mph - its the yellow Gixxer 750 from the next video with the sports exhaust, sports tyres, taller gearing and some time to kill at Nurburgring..

http://media.rc45.net/media/200mph.zip

Next is the winning race that got me the 200mph yellow Gixxer

http://media.rc45.net/media/750win.zip

And finally one of the attempts to get the black R6 - I lost this one , but it was exciting enough to make into a video.

Hope you enjoy this bit of fantasy SportsTV footage.

Re: My first few TT pictures

Fantastic vids. I've only watched the TZR and 200mph ones so far, but they have to be the nicest bits of TT footage I've seen.

What setup did you use to record them, if you don't mind my asking?

Re: My first few TT pictures

I have the video output of all the game consoles split to go to the TV/sound system, and a second feed to a Sony DCR TRV-350 camcorder.

This is turn is hooked to the PC via Firewire - so I can do direct video capture of anything. (Videography is a side hobby, so I have all the rig for taping/capturing/editing and producing videos of game replays, social events - and even on-board breakfast runs in the car.. )

Here's some other examples:

A Project Gotham racing3 action video I put together...

http://media.rc45.net/media/PGR3_Encounter.zip

..and a little onboard car action - showing how much slower a modified M3 is than a stock Corvette Z06 (thats before my car was modified)

Re: My first few TT pictures

Do you mind if I post a link to your post with the TT vids on the site, RC45? Happy to mirror them if bandwidth is a problem.

Re: My first few TT pictures

No problem at all.

You may want to mirror them as well.

I will be making more as I find interersting races. One I have setup and am enjoying is running the NSR250SP against the 600cc's.

It's great to watch the 600's hutrle past on the straights and then you just buzz by them with super high corner speed... -- makes for fun close racing.

Re: My first few TT pictures

Thanks. I've just sorted out mirrors for all four and will add a page in the movies area with credit.

Look forward to seeing the next batch.

Re: My first few TT pictures

Nice. I don't know if GT4 is the same as TT with this, but it seems to me like the the 'best shot' photos tend to come out very dark. Even when you're in the full photo mode anything other than a high exposure seems to end up looking like it was taken at 2am. No big complaint but it's a bit odd - you'd have thought they'd try and find a better balance for it.

Re: My first few TT pictures

Well, look what All Gold Medals on the Expert License tests gets you... (oh - and the only reason I put myself through that hell was to get the NR.. )
